Documentary proof that the deceased was a Kenyan Citizen: original Kenyan passport, Kenyan ID Card.
Copy of deceased’s death certificate/certificate of facts of death issued by relevant UK authorities.
Signed and stamped letter from funeral directors/undertakers confirming that the remains have been embalmed in accordance with ICAO and other international guidelines for international air flights/shipping.
Out of England certificate issued by the relevant UK authorities.
A non-infectious certificate issued by relevant UK authorities.
Any other necessary supportive documents if required.

Self-addressed return envelope- registered with adequate postage stamps to post your No-Objection Letter back to your address once the same has been issued for requests received via post
For request made via email the office shall/may process and issue the No Objection Letter via Next of Kin email provided unless otherwise clearly stated. However, the office will require documentary proof from the next of Kin to show the nature of the relationship with the deceased.
NB: Identification details of the deceased (name, full date of birth and place of birth/nationality) should not conflict in both certificate of death and official documents. Discrepancies may cause unnecessary delays in obtaining the necessary approvals to repatriate the remains of the deceased back to Kenya for burial.
Upon receipt of dully completed applications/requests, the High Commission shall process and issue a No Objection Letter to the Next of Kin of the deceased, for confidentiality.

A certificate issued by the Funeral directors/Undertakers in the UK confirming that the contents are nothing but ashes of the remains of the deceased and that they have not been mixed with anything else.
