This is to inform the general public that, pursuant to the Joint Communiqué issued at the conclusion of the official visit to the Republic of Kenya by His Excellency Isaias Afwerki, President of the State of Eritrea, on 9 February 2023, the two Heads of State have agreed to permanently abolish visa requirements with effect from 9 February 2023. This is to facilitate trade and connectivity between the two countries.
