From tea and coffee, Kitenge and Masai beads to Tusker beer and lotion, Made-in-Kenya was a huge attraction at this months Commonwealth Fair.

Spouses of Kenya High Commission London staff put together the Kenya stand, which received high level visitors including Commonwealth Secretary General Baroness Patricia Scotland."This was a hugely successful event and Kenya contributed immensely," said Mrs Waithiegeni Kanguru-Esipisu, responsible for the Kenya stand.

"We exhibited and sold uniquely Kenyan merchandise. Delighted to see people enjoy our coffee, tea or beer on the day," she added.The Fair is an annual affair attended by the 54-member Commonwealth.

The spouses also participated in the fashion segment of the programme where they showcased various cultural attire.The fair is organised by the Commonwealth Countries League to raise funds for championing Commonwealth Girl's Education.
