UK Insurance Firm Invests Big in Kenya’s Insurance Market

One of the UK’s biggest insurer  Prudential Plc last year acquired Kenyan Shield Assurance Co.  During their  first year of operation it has already invested 1.5 billion Kenyan shillings ($16.9 million). The company will  be returning to its  headquarter building on Wabera Street in Nairobi  where it once was from  1959 – 1984

Kenya is a Safe Destination:UN World Tourism Organisation

Secretary-general of the UN World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO)  Taleb Rifai arrived in Mombasa from Spain on Thursday (August 20th) to attend the East African Tourism Development forum has shown confidence in the sector growth by signing an MOU agreement with  the Ministry of East African Affairs, Commerce and Tourism to promote the sector.
