Stringent adherence to rules governing the issuance of passports and other vital documents will continue to be enforced to protect their integrity.
That was the message delivered by the Kenya High Commission London staff when they visited with professionals under the umbrella Kenya Nottingham Welfare Association (KNWA) on 2nd November, 2019.

KNWA was founded in 2011 as a welfare association to support Kenyan families and students living in Nottingham. The association has 160 members.

High Commissioner Manoah Esipisu was accompanied by Education Attaché Dorothy Kamwilu, Consular officer Rebecca Toto and Finance Attaché Ayub Munyifwa.

They fielded a range of questions, including on immigration processes and education partnerships. Commenting on service delivery, Amb. Esipisu said the mission had made significant changes over the last 12 months and would continue on the reform path. He pointed to a new website and more aggressive use of social media as tools of improved information sharing.

Earlier in the year, Team Kenya London visited Nottingham for the annual students' conference bringing together our 2,000-strong student population. Team Kenya London plans further outreach events at the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford this month. The High Commissioner is expected to meet with students at Cambridge University mid this month.

Visits to Coventry and DE Montfort are also in the pipeline.
