On 15th May 2017, the Education Attaché, Mrs. Dorothy Kamwilu visited the University of Sussex to check on the welfare and performance of Kenyan students studying at the University. Currently, there are 26 students in the University taking undergraduate, masters and Ph.D. studies.
The Education Attaché held a meeting with Dyer Sava the Head of the International Students Support Office. There was also a meeting between the head of the Ph.D. students Mrs. Christine Wanjale Mauka and the education Attaché. It was agreed that there would be further discussion on recruitment strategies to increase the number of students in the University and also collaborations with our Universities in Kenya for mutual benefit. A meeting with the Kenya students will be held in October 2017.
