TENDER INVITATION NOTICE
TENDER NUMBER: KHCL/2018 -2019/001
TENDER NAME: UPGRADING AND RENOVATIONS OF THE GOVERNMENT OF KENYA PROPERTIES IN LONDON
The Kenya High Commission in London invites tenders from qualified contractors, for the upgrading and renovations of the High Commissioner’s residence situate at 78 Winnington Road, and a residential house at 48 Connaught Drive.
Interested and registered Contractors who have carried out similar works in the last five years may access the tender documents and can do so by following the https://www.mytenders.co.uk/ link and subsequently logging in to the suppliers page and searching for job reference JUN157377.
Tenderers should then register their interest allowing them access to download the tender documents.
Tenderers have until 28 June 2019 10.00am GMT to submit their tenders via https://www.mytenders.co.uk/ after which the tender period will automatically close.
Interested bidders should note that only those meeting the criteria indicated below as a minimum, supported by relevant documents at submission will be considered for further evaluation.
- Interested tenderers must complete and return Pre-Qualification Requirements with their tender submission.
- Tenderers must be registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme and also have Quality Assurance Accreditation ISO 9001 or similar.
- The tender documents were uploaded Thursday 6 June 2019 afternoon and went live (published) on 7 June 2019. Performance Bond has not been included in the tender documents; however this can be requested from the potential Contractor prior to executing the Contract.
- Must have adequate equipment and key personnel for the specified types of works.
- Must meet further criteria set in the bid documents.
All tender submissions must be submitted via the https://www.mytenders.co.uk/ website; the same way as the tender documents are accessed. This allows for complete confidentiality and no collusion as nobody is able to access the tender submissions at any point during the tender period. Only after the tender close date of 29 June 2019 at 10.00am GMT may the tenders be opened at which point they cannot be altered, amended or deleted. Any tenders submitted in any other form will be rejected unless they have been submitted via the electronic portal via the https://www.mytenders.co.uk/ website, this is to allow for all tendering parties to be given fair and equal tender opportunity.
Submitted bids will be opened publicly in the Board Room, Ground Floor, of the Kenya High Commission’s Chancery Building by logging into the https://www.mytenders.co.uk/ website, soon after the above stated closing date and time in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend. Late bids will not be processed or included in the opening procedure as the electronic tender process will not register any submissions after the automatic cut off time at 10.00am GMT on 29 June 2019.
Prices quoted must remain valid for eight (8) weeks from the opening date of the tender and should be net inclusive of all taxes and charges.
The Government of Kenya does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
