The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to inform that the Government of the Republic of Kenya shall with effect from 1st September 2017 implement a new e-Passport issuing system and as per International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards, the passport printing will be centrally done in Nairobi.
Applicants will be required to submit applications online on the e-Citizen platform and present themselves to Accredited Immigration Passport Processing Centers locally or abroad for profiling and biometrics capture.
Please note that the current valid passports will be in use for the next two years i.e. till 31st August 2019 after which they will be rendered invalid.
