On 14th October 2016, the Kenya High Commissioner H.E Lazarus Amayo hosted a book launch by Mrs. Radhika Lee founder and Director of Nairobi International School (NIS) of her autobiography Rainbows In My Clouds at the Kenya High Commission.
The private event was attended by friends, family, and supporters of Mrs. Lee, and speakers included the High Commissioner H.E Lazarus Amayo, Mr. John Couch, VP Apple (Education), and public speaker Nigel Barrow.
In his address,The High Commissioner thanked Mrs. Lee for making it possible to assemble Kenyans and friends of Kenya to this event, adding that it was a privilege to host a distinguished Kenyan, with a book of great inspiration to many. The High Commissioner informed the audience that Kenya greatly benefits from the work done by Mrs. Lee in providing education as well as through the Cancer Awareness and Treatment Support Initiative, of which 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the book would go directly to the charity.
Rainbows in my clouds is a touching Memoir on the life of Mrs. Lee. It is an uplifting story of Radhika Lee; Pioneer, Educationist, Wife, Mother, and Friend. Written with courage and a rare honesty, this is a story of hope and inspiration.
