The World Bank has praised Kenya for using telephone banking to curb hunger and poverty. Speaking in Morocco, during the UN climate change conference, World Bank’s Senior Director of Climate Change, John Roome, reiterated that Kenya’s success in mobile banking can be imitated worldwide.
