On 23rd March 2017, the Kenya Commercial Bank held a diaspora event at the Royal Overseas League in London. The objective of the meeting was to exchange views with the East African Diaspora and explain the products that the Bank offers to enable them to invest and save back home. The event which was coordinated by Ms. Ruth Kirima was attended by the East African Diaspora professionals and business individuals residing in London. The High Commission was represented by the Deputy High Commissioner, Mrs. Grace Cerere and the Commercial Counsellor Mrs. Anne Kamau.
The KCB Group Financial Officer, Mr. Lawrence Kimathi was the Guest speaker. He was accompanied by the Head of Investor Relations Mr. David Kitheka and Head of Diaspora Banking, Mr. Vincent Aberi.
KCB Diaspora Banking was launched in 2012 at the Olympics in London. So far 2,500 have benefited from the banking services in the UK. The team encouraged the Diaspora to utilize the KCB Diaspora Banking Services and invest in Kenya.
