The Elephant Neighbours Centre (ENC) wishes to invite you to “The Great London to Bristol Ivory Belongs to Elephants Walk” that will commence from Kensington on Sunday 3rd December 2017 and culminate at Council House College Green Bristol on Tuesday 12th December 2017.
The walk will take 10 days with overnight stopovers. The route for this Great Walk begins in the Borough of Kensington & Chelsea London on Sunday 3rd December with overnight stops in Windsor, Reading, Newbury, Swindon, Cirencester, and Cheltenham, passing through Gloucester, overnight stops in Stroud, Chippenham, and Bath, passing through Yate, Bristol Zoo and to finish at College Green outside the Council House, Bristol city centre on Tuesday 12th December.
This walk is a continuation of Ivory Belongs to Elephants campaign that started in 2013.
The dates and routes are as stated below:
Day 1 -Sunday 3rd December: Kensington ▶Windsor
Day 2 – Monday 4th December: Windsor ▶Reading
Day 3 – Tuesday 5th December: Reading ▶ Newbury
Day 4 – Wednesday 6th December: Newbury ▶Swindon
Day 5 – Thursday 7th December: Swindon ▶ Cirencester
Day 6 – Friday 8th December: Cirencester ▶ Cheltenham
Day 7 – Saturday 9th December: Cheltenham ▶Gloucester ▶Stroud
Day 8 – Sunday 10th December: Stroud ▶ Chippenham
Day 9 – Monday 11th December: Chippenham ▶ Bath
Day 10 – Tuesday 12th December: Bath ▶ Yate ▶ Bristol……..finishing at College Green outside the Council House.
