Kenyan Youth Are Invited to Apply for Grants from the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust for Consideration

On Tuesday January 30th 2018 Mrs Nicola Brentnall MVO, Director at the Queens Trust and Mr. Jamie Webb, Strategic Philanthropy Consultant and Charity Advisor paid a courtesy call on the High Commissioner H.E. Lazarus Amayo. They were accompanied by Mrs Senda Kavindele, Head of East Africa, Africa Business Practice; Chair, African & Caribbean Network at KPMG UK.

The objective of the meeting was to discuss  Queen’s Commonwealth Trust plans. The Trust celebrates the Queen’s belief in young people as a force for good. Focusing on sport, education, health and environment, The Trust’s ambition is to enable young people to build a better future for all.

Her Majesty’s Trust is Keen to work with young people as partners in the drive to create a better, more peaceful and more collaborative world. As such, it will provide grants to fund initiatives led by young people that enable prosperity, equality, and the wellbeing of their communities.
