Charity Walk for Kenyan Creative Youth Training Organisation

On 26 September,  Education Attaché  Mrs Margaret Lesuuda, of the Kenya High Commission in London, took part in the Great WALK of Art,  an event that has participants undertaking a 5-hour guided art walk between major galleries in support of their charity of choice. On this walk they were supporting charity organisation Mobile Arts School in Kenya (MASK), an organisation in Kenya that trains young people to be more creative and innovative  through training programmes.

MASK also established a national creativity competition partnered by The Star a Kenyan national newspaper with prizes (around 300,000 ksh) for young people and schools in Kenya. Students from the programme had also presented their works at UNESCO in Paris and Seoul in 2012 and 2014.
